Therapy & Services

Compassionate, specialist support for eating disorders, body image and emotional wellbeing.

Whether you're struggling with your relationship with food, finding yourself consumed by thoughts about your body, or looking for support for someone you love, you don't have to navigate it alone.

I offer individualised, evidence-informed psychotherapy, parent coaching and educational services, tailored to the needs of each individual or group.

Individual Psychotherapy

I work with teenage girls (aged 17+) and adult women experiencing a range of difficulties, including:

  • Anorexia nervosa

  • Bulimia nervosa

  • Binge eating disorder

  • Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)

  • Disordered eating and complicated relationships with food

  • Body image dissatisfaction and low self-esteem

  • Anxiety, depression and related emotional difficulties

Therapy is about more than addressing symptoms.

Together, we can explore the thoughts, feelings and experiences underlying your difficulties, develop healthier coping strategies and work towards a more peaceful relationship with food, your body and yourself.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to your individual needs, recognising that meaningful change looks different for everyone.

Parent Coaching & Support

Supporting a child or teenager struggling with an eating disorder can feel frightening, confusing and overwhelming.

You may find yourself unsure of what to say, how much to intervene, or how to support recovery without creating further tension at home.

I offer practical, compassionate guidance to help parents better understand eating disorders and feel more confident supporting their child.

Sessions may explore:

  • Understanding eating disorders and the recovery process

  • Responding to difficult conversations about food, weight and body image

  • Supporting mealtimes and managing challenging behaviours

  • Navigating family dynamics and reducing conflict

  • Balancing compassion, boundaries and appropriate support

  • Looking after your own wellbeing as a parent

Supporting Recovery at Home

I also offer a focused three-session parent coaching programme, designed to provide practical tools, guidance and support for families navigating eating disorder recovery.

Parent coaching can be offered alongside a young person's existing treatment and does not require them to be attending therapy with me.

Professional Training, Workshops & Speaking

Alongside my clinical practice, I'm passionate about increasing awareness of eating disorders, challenging harmful body image messages and helping communities create more supportive environments.

I offer educational workshops, talks and professional training for:

  • Schools, teachers and educational staff

  • Parents and community organisations

  • Mental health professionals

  • Kallah teachers, premarital educators and community leaders

  • Organisations seeking to promote healthier conversations around food, body image and mental health

Topics can include eating disorder awareness and prevention, recognising early warning signs, body image and self-esteem, supporting recovery, and the intersection of body image with dating, relationships and intimacy.

Sessions can be tailored to the needs of your organisation or audience.

Taking the First Step

Reaching out for support can feel daunting, particularly if you're unsure exactly what you need.
